" Bringing dreams to life " is our purpose here at custom homes by Minto. Never has our purpose had such meaning as with the building of this home. To live in a spacious, elegantly finished waterfront home has been a dream of our clients for more decades than the author of this introduction has been alive.

Inspiration to act on their dreams came from a leisurely drive into Minto's exceptional Winding Way community one summer afternoon in 2004. The beauty of the Rideau River with it's southern views captured their hearts. The park and conservation boardwalk within the community confirmed the decision to move forward with the dream.

Months of planning will be evident from the moment guests enter the rotunda shaped driveway at 177 Winding Way. The aluminum tile roof, columns covering the two story entry façade, curved windows and special doors will confirm the Spanish influence in it's design.

Once inside, the dream continues with iron railings and both wood and marble floor finishes. The circular wood stairs are open to the three floors and extensive use of bow windows will provide the panoramic river views. The rear of the home hosts an entertainment sized deck that is easily accessible from principal rooms while the covered master bedroom deck provides a bird’s eye view and solitude for times to reflect.

Filling each client’s custom home dream is very important to us. Being chosen to complete a life long dream is our honor.
