Lot 7 - Winding Way Waterfront

As a custom home builder, we see many clients ideas of what would be "their dream home". It is always our goal to pull their ideas out and convert them to canvas, with hopes of building them, without compromise. However all too often their dream does not meet their budget and when the creative revision pen stops, the dream home that is built becomes a version only of the original dream.

The design of this home is the exception. Dubbed by our chief architect as the " Rotunda " for its many round turret features, this home met all of our clients objectives and we look forward to starting it sometime in October. It will add magnificent curb appeal to our growing waterfront community.

This stone and brick 8000 plus square foot beauty has it all. The 3 plus car garage projects in front of the home. It has been designed so that the space above can be finished as a retreat in the future. The street side metal roof turret and deep over hang supported with a decorative post conceals the garage well. The garage gives access through a small overhead rear door to the side yard and into the home through either a laundry area or the mud room.

The lower walk out level holds the exercise room, work shop, guest bed and bath with two entries, laundry room, bed 7 with a sitting room and full bath and a large family room. The family room opens to an out door hot tub area with a cedar ceiling as well to the interlocking stone patio that is covered. The lower level has a formal set of stairs also a utility set that leads upstairs to the mud room at the garage.

On the main level your treated with far too many details to list from the moment you enter this home through the custom designed wood front doors into the grand foyer. The stairs, the view out to the river from the openness and the rotunda columns open through the second floor coned ceiling. The kitchen is designed to have ample storage space, volumes of counters, a large island and still provide enough room for the family to gather around the table. The upper cabinets were removed across the river elevation in favour of large windows for the view. There is a separate walk in pantry and cook room. There is a formal living and dining room, a bedroom with full bath, a powder room and family room with a separate sunroom overlooking the river. There is a tiled and covered deck accessible off the family room.

The upper level holds 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a laundry room and study. The 2 rear master suites have access to the tiled and covered deck with river views to the south for miles. The larger of the masters also has a round retreat.
