Work in ProgressCustom HomeLot 32 Copperwood Street We are gearing up to bring our last of 4 custom homes to life at the top of Copperwood Street in Minto’s Quarry Ridge development. This custom home began as the Edinburgh model and is another great example of an extreme customization to suite a customers dream. The lot size and views is what first attracted the owners to explore custom building on this site. The Gatineau Hills, Ottawa River and city lights to the west should all be visible from the second floors private covered balcony. The pie shaped lot allowed for a generous size 2 car garage to be angled along with the laundry, a set of basement stairs and storage area off the main living areas of this home. There is an interlocking walkway leading to the covered front entry porch. The foyer like other areas of this home is open two stories and will provide a view through the family room to the trees along the rear of the lot. The cathedral ceiling office faces the street along with a formal dining room. A south facing feature window in the dining room will bring light through the 14 foot height ceiling into the foyer and open spaces. A slightly curved stair open to the lower level along with a change in floor materials are architectural design features used to define the open family room space.
